Creative Wiring around a 440 ... pictures needed!!
« on: October 18, 2009 - 09:31:02 AM »
Has anyone found a way to tidy up the factory wiring without replacing it?   I am starting to run the new harnesses on my 440 Challenger and realized that it isn't looking quite as tidy as it could be.   New pics of your personal engine bays would be great as many of the older posted pics are gone.

Thanks ... CHAPS70RT

I just used plastic tubing. It's available in several colors.

I ran mine along the firewall and the inner fenders rather than the stock way over the engine.

Thanks Guys .... I think I will go with the plastic tubing as many of you have.  It really does tidy things up.

Cheers .... Gary  :canada:

Not sure how expensive it is, but Painless has some heat resistant wire loom that looks pretty good.  Sorry I do not have any pics or prices for it.  I am sure that it costs a lot more than the plastic covering.
