trying to find what the highest hp trans and rearend that is still streetable is anyone know of any??

If you mean a trans and rear that can
handle
the most hp it`s all up to the parts used and the person biulding them.There are 727s and 904s behind some pretty stout engines and for rears the Dana and Ford 9" are very strong.

well iam building a twin turbo 440
and trying to find what transmission and drivetrain tha can handle 1500 ot 2000 hp and still be drivable
is this possible??

I'd either use a TF-727 or don't get angry lads but a Powerglide is also a great option, only one shift needed and then just hang on for your life LOL!!!
You could always get a custom made trans, tell them what you plan on doing and they'll sought something out.

Lenco & Jerico Trannys are designed for extreme HP , do not use the 727 it will come apart with that kind of power , There are Sheet Metal diffs available , the Dana is also very strong , Mark williams & Strange have some high HP options availabe

Also, a local buddy into pro stock racing. Modifies 727's with lighweight aluminum parts.
Figure the horsepower that delivers 6 sec / 200 mph. see

I saw a blown Cuda in the 9 second range launch the drum over the grandstands into the pit area , he may have beem close to 1000 HP , it was a 727 he was using

But then again there are TF-727's in lower bracket racers that have held up fine. Isn't it just a bit of luck also?
I've heard the PowerGlide is one awesome transmission.
