71 Cuda Goodmark Repro Fender Fitment?
« on: October 23, 2009 - 08:51:06 PM »
Has anybody had experience with installing one of the new repro Cuda fenders from Goodmark? I'm looking at buying a 71 Cuda repro gilled fender but am a little concerned about how well it will fit. I hear horror stories all the time about reproduction parts not fitting like the originals. Should I be concerned?

we have been selling both AMD and goodmark since they have been doing the mopar stuff, I have sold and installed alot of the e=body sheet metal. Call me on monday at the office and we can talk, 586-859-2575.
each panel is different and may vary in fitment, another words no 2 are alike,
for the money and what issues you may or may not have it still beats the alternative of buying an original 2x the price and still having to fix it. I will be using these on my 71 as well as alot of other parts

I agree with Dave.

I installed 70 fenders from Sherman on my cuda and the fit was really good.  I did have to make a few mods though.  I had to slot the bottom bolt holes in the dog leg so I could lift the fender up.  I also had to slightly modify my fender brackets that bolt on the side of the cowl so they could move forward slightly.  There are pictures of the fenders installed on my car on my website.  Overall, I am very pleased with the fenders.  I have many customers that are as well.  It sure beats fixing my old fenders.

I used '71 repo fenders from Dave above and they fit the '74 great.

Plus the guys at Roseville helped me stuff them in the back of my Jeep  :2thumbs:
