It is sad just to see them sit.  I'll be back that way in November and have to go bother them.

I heard a story yesterday from a co-worker that I think I need to find out if it's fact or fiction.  The guy was telling me a random story about having to pull a old cassy out of one of his fathers friends yards many years ago. Then he mentioned that the guy had some bardge sized mopar with a 440 in it that the guy bought new and many years later gave it to a family member but it ony had about 1200 miles on it. So I said gee what did this guy just buy cars and never use them? He said yeah he'd buy anything that he thought would have value even though he'd not try to sell the stuff, drive them or brag about what he had. Then my friend says I am willing to bet the the Cuda he bought off some lady in 1972-3ish who didn't like the 'Lime Green' color and thought the car was to ugly is still in the barn. I asked if he was intrested in letting me take a look at it, and he says No he dide about 10 years ago. My friend says that the guy bought about 20 pairs of discontinued tires from his father and the old guy told him to put them in the barn. So he looks over and sees a lime green HEMI Cuda in the barn 4250mi on it. He tells me that there is a good chance that it just may still be in there because his wife never sold it after he passed. However he said that the way to the barn is blocked off and the lady doesn't like people.  But I want badly to know if this car is still there.
I wonder if it would be worth the tresspassing just to see?

I couldn't stand to sit down and write about it.  I would have already been there.  Bring her some cookies or gin or something.  Swoon her in any way.  A green hemi car.  I would sleep outside until she talked to me.  Something can be done.  That would drive me crazy!!  What state?

I recommend one thing.  don't go there saying you are there to buy the vehicle.  People get very defensive and closed off.  Tell her you are there to hear the history of the car, or something similar.  That puts people in an very different mood.  Usually people want to tell the stories of the stuff they own, things they remember from the past, etc... Later, mention that you would do anything to make sure the Cuda was safe, and if you could help in any way, wash, clean, buy, the car that you would be interested.

That's how I've been able to see so much, ask for the story.
