    Front arm bushings

    How to replace   lower front arm bushings?
    Are the bushing pressed in from the front of vehicle and then the shaft inside?
    Which direction shall I press it out?
    like in the pic or the other way?

    Press the shaft out the same way your arrow is pointed.  That is the same way the outer bushing sleave comes out as well.  You only have to remove the outer bushing sleave if you are replacing it with a factory rubber style bushing.  If you are installing a Poly bushing, the origonal outer sleave stays inside the LCA.

    the Muscle cars suspension kit has a puller to remove the pin fron the bushing then the rubber can be pryed out , I have also used a pickle fork & propane torch to heat it up enough to pry the pin out
     as said above the steel shell of the bushing is left in place for Poly bushinmgs assuming it is in good condition

     :iagree: If you are replacing it with a rubber bushing you need to get the outer sleave out. You will need this tool. I used it and it sure does make the job easy.

    I have already bought this kit from summit http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ENS-5-3112G/ but can anyone tell me what the 2 black items are ?
    The other 4 is for upper control arm if I´m not wrong but where shall I place the other  ???

    Those are the lower control arm bushings.  You use those with the original inner and outer sleeves.

    The poly bushings don't use an inner sleeve do they?   Just the origonal outer sleeve.

    They seems so small compared the ones sitting there now but I will measure them tomorrow or in the morning is more correct

    Yes. For the Poly bushings leave the outer sleave in place. How are the pins? Theads in good shape? I put new pins in when I installed mine. I think the Poly bushings used a different pin.

    The pins are fine

    So u think I can´t use these pins with these bussings then  :crying:

    I check when I have pressed them out

    Where can I buy them or should I use stock bussings instead?

    I put a full poly-graphite kit from PST in mine, all but the lower control arm bushings are poly. The lowers are rubber. Someone here recomended not using poly for the lower bushings. I'm not sure why not. But I went with that recommendation and used rubber.
