Which is the best interior to purchase? Legendary or Year One? Or is there someone else out there that sells them? I need white, mine are toast. Don't we have a member on here that sells them?

I bought Legendary and they worked very well. I haven't had experience with other brands, though. I was concerned about getting material with the proper fit, and Legendary was recommended to me.

To be specific I am referring to door panels, front and back. Is this what you bought?? Are you happy with the result? Do you have any pics?

I've talked to the manufacturers of the repop panels and they all say that they cannot get the grain correct due to the fact that they produce the panels using a different method then the originals were. The repop panels look very cheap from the backside as well, not that it matters much as you cannot see the back side once installed, but still it goes to show the overall quality of the piece.

My beef really isn't about appearance, but fit. If they could at least get that right.   

I'm just talking about the door panels, I wouldn't dare buy the back panels after what my door panels made by Palco turned out to be.  Maybe things have changed in the last 5-6 years, but maybe not.   

The best option is always to find used originals. You can always dye them the color of choice.

Sorry, I don't.

  I had them on for one season, then tossed them. The plastic was hard feeling. I had to really work to get them to fit. Holes didn't line up on the outer edges. The wood panel in the middle didn't fit right after I drilled the holes. I had problems getting the armrest in, and getting the door to open. I had to elongate the hole some. I just thought for the price I paid, these would have been much better than what I received.

Original is the ONLY way to go for these. (still) They are the only ones that fit. If you have a nasty looking set, Just Dashes out in CA can recover them for you. Not cheap, & not exact on the grain but they fit.

Much better than dealing with the aftermarket junk.

I agree, originals are the way to go.  Keep your eyes open, I bought a very nice set of original panels, front and backs, from a member on here for $450.

I bought everything from Legendary. Seat covers and all interior panels (door, pillar post moldings, kick panels, etc.). However, I haven't gotten to the stage yet where I've installed the interior panels. I've only completed the upholstery. I hope to get the interior done by Spring. Sorry I don't have more info for you now.

My current panels are not the best, they are scratched and rubbed in places. I will post pics tomorrow but I honestly don't have the abilities to reapir them to where I would like. I am ready at this point to sell my originals and buy repops...they have to be better than what I have Anyone have anything good to say about the repops???Stay tuned for pics

You are going to spend around $800 for repop door and rear panels, if you look you will be able to find a really nice set of originals for that price that will fit and look correct. I am in a similar situation. I have a 70 Challenger that has white interior and I have no interior panels. I refuse to use the repops as they are not good in fitment or appearance. Patience is the key with interior panels. When i was restoring my 70 cuda it had detroyed interior panels in it (speaker holes cut in them) and I was able to find a flawless set of black door and rear panels for less than $600 shipped to my door on ebay.  At the end of the day it is your car and you need to do what you feel is best for your car.
