BIG problems - A-body K-Member..
« on: October 30, 2009 - 10:27:30 AM »

I'm into changeing my racecar into a streetcar..
I got a v8 K-member, but nothing to mount the engine to - use to go with an engine plate between block an wather pump housing....

We are in a 68 Cuda...

Is the V8 K-member the same for small or big block..???
Is there different engine mount plates, the part that goes on the block..???

Anyone got pics. of an original V8 K-member..???

Schumaker has mounts to install the big block into a V8 A body K but you still need a new K frame

Did you have a spool mount or biscut mount, believe the spool was later year a-body.

the 73& up K frame with the spool mount is often used to install a big block
