@ swede-cuda  - sorry but i'll keep the car stock, however there will be some used parts left - I'll make pictures  and post it in the ad section.
  sounds good,i prefer used parts over repro.

my share in the resto process:

later I corrected the red spot and now it is irregular painted with a brush and follows original contours.

it's rather amateur job. i'm afraid that gold paint will wear off due to heat under hood though.
simply clean it well of grease; disassemble, unsolder wires and replace if necessary, assembly with new lube, paint it silver than the motor cylinder with some nice cad/gold paint resolder wires and paint that ugly red stain :)
i was using dremel, petrol and lacquer thinner for cleaning. i couldnt find new wires that have copper core and that fancy cloth outside shell.
well it's far from jules' job but it's cheaper and brings lots of satisfaction. next wll be shifter plate.

tomorrow i'm going to the shop with a bunch of new parts (over 90 lbs of stuff ;) ) and will check the bodywork progress.

if i replace half the quater panel then i go ahead and do the whole thing,2 reasons less body work, and you can sand blast and treat all the sheetmetal behind the quater while your there..so later your not having parts behind there just rusting away..just my  :2cents:

Was the top of the quarters that bad?

I replaced mine w/skins just at the middle body line.  I like to keep as much OEM metal as possible.
sorry i was commenting on this, and some how it didnt show up,its all on what you think is right,i like to replace all the quater, if you got to atleast do halve of it,and that way you can get to and treat behind it,thats all..some people like keeping the top section,i dont like putting body work that i dont have to on the car, with a whole one you got to fix the sail panel and done..im just telling ya what i like to do..but then again im in the us shipping, parts, etc are alot easier on my pocket than yours..and you did 3/4 of it so you was able to get behind it pretty good..looking good on yours keep the pics coming

Bodyman assured me it was cleaned and prepped correctly under the top (old) part of the quarter so no rusty areas are left there.
I needed to replace only rear lower part of quarter due to distorted horizontal body line and the shop found replacin half of panel easier ;)

The inner fender to cowl point was distorted and full of bad welds and some brass-like stuff (!). The shop advised me to put a strenghtening plate on both sides, as this is a highly flexible place. Shouldnt look bad and will prevent that nasty cracking.
