Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Haven't had the news on yet this morning but the shooters name is an "islam" name. He was an officer and was scheduled to be deployed to Igaq I beleive, he was reported to be upset that he was being sent over there. He was a psychiatrist dealing with the returning forces who were having problems coping with the experiences of their deployments. At any rate security measures were breeched for him to have loaded weapons. Glad he is a dead bastard. !!

Last I heard he was not dead.   :dunno:  The initial report said he was dead but the news report from last night said he was alive.

I say make him pay for what he has done.  :grinyes:

He's on a ventilator in stable condition. He was shot multiple times including from the Female Police officer who was shot also and in stable condition.

Federal law will be he will get the death penalty no doubt.

Working on a military base makes you look around a lot and wonder lately.  I wish the shooter could get what he has coming to him, but he can only suffer & die once.

His name is Hasan, he's a Muslim.
USS Cole, World Trade Center, Pentagon, Sgt. Asan Akbar who grenaded 15 soldiers in his own outfit, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad shot two members of the U.S. military at an Army-Navy Career Center .  Would this be profiling or am I the only one who sees a pattern here ?

All muslims are not terrorists. But it seems to be all terrorists are muslim. Im sorry, but over centuries it appears that religion has been the cause of many wars and conflicts.

What religion has ever had military power to start a war .governments recruit from its people yet most countries have different beliefs ,that means politics have caused wars and  religion is a by product .  ;)

The crusades were fought over religion.

I'm starting to feel like we shouldn't allow muslims to join our military. I don't care if anyone thinks that's racist or discriminatory or whatever. It's bad enough having to worry about the enemy killing you, much less Sergeant Akbar.
