« on: November 05, 2009 - 05:43:18 PM »
....the front of my 1970 R/T hood???
I called Year One, they don't have them.
I hear the Mopar Performance has them for $150 per letter, that will not happen for me...
Anybody got some or do you know where to buy them?

I've seen them on E-bay, bought the rear letter for mine there...

Ironically I had to because someone used hood letter for the rear

Stay the He!! away from that crook Jim... Dave has as good a deal as any I can find + you can get your C-C discount.....How bad are your letters? I have wet sanded & buffed mine to look OK,  not near perfect but it appears they never were.

No offense to Dave/Roseville as I'm sure his wholesale cost is also high, but $150 for five little castings?

That's beyond rediculous.

I hear great things about Dave's place, but I just can't bring myself to drop $150 for the letters. Jack's has them for less than half of that, he's 2 or 3 weeks out, I'll wait.
The other thing that's a little expensive (anywhere I look) is a windshield washer fluid bottle, $75.....YIKES!!!

And that's just for the bottle. The pump is extra.

Check prices on radiator overflow bottles/brackets.  :scared:
