So, 7d,  Have you seen and touched the new test panels or got a pair of the new panels that are just now available?
Yes, I had a set of the test panels to trial fit and just got a set of the production panels 2 days ago.

So, aside from the one hole being too large you are happy with the panels?

I'll have to wait a bit longer I guess. I'm ready for a pair of white Challenger panels. For that matter, I'd want rear-panels, a-pillars and seat backs too.

There are a bunch of us here waiting for Challenger Convertible panels in white. When those are out, I'll be one of those trying to jump on a full set myself.

Waiting for white Challenger panels myself. Glad to hear the grain is spot on and they fit nice. The hole issue will surely get taken care of as its such an insignificant step in the process.

I picked up a set at Carlisle and found the quality to be awesome.....I set them side by side with the orginals on my car and everything looks exactly the same.

I did notice an issue with the fit at the top.....I had to do some minor sheetmetal massaging to the door structure to get the top to fit right....the "flange" at the top, towards the front doesnt want to seat 100% right, on BOTH sides...and that hole everyone is talking about, IS a bit big....but my old panels seemed to have the same issues....  :clueless:

Overall, love them.  They look so much better than the old ones did.

Now I just hafta wait till the rears are available and I have more $$$ burning a hole in my pocket.  LOL  The rears looked better than my old fronts....now compared to the new fronts, they look like crap.  LOL

Cool!  Can you see any difference in the grain pattern of the new front panels vs. your original rear panels?
