    looking to put a 4bbl intake and carb on a 318(currently 2bbl cast iron manifold and carter 2bbl carb). what all do i need as far as linkage goes? detent cable? thanks

    I did this upgrade on my 318.  I went with an Edelbrock LD4B manifold and a Eldelbrock, 650 CFM Carb, with an electronic choke.  The only other thing you need is the throttle linkage adapter from Eldelbrock and a 4 barrel throttle bracket, I got mine from junkyard.
