Plastic Dash Pieces - Texture & Finish?
« on: November 08, 2009 - 12:47:20 PM »
How do I restore the orignial texture on the plastic dash pieces for my '70 Cuda?  Does anyone sell a spray paint that has this rough texture?  Also, should this be a semi-flat, semi-gloss, or flat finish?  Thanks.

I used duplicolor spray truck bed coating. I used light quick coats and got good results. Pics are not the best.

That does look good.  I may try that.  Thanks.

Radio bezel and heater control perimeters were originally black wrinkle finish.

I used Krylon Black Wrinkle paint and followed the VERY detailed instructions.  Came out very well.
