Anybody Wonder What Copenhagen Agreement Is
« on: November 09, 2009 - 07:52:50 AM »
Here in Australia we are bombarded about the Copenhagen meeting about climate change. There are many articles filtering through to say that there are many other things on the agenda, if anyone is interested check out this link below

Al Gore has a clue.

Can't pull off a political career, so:

Invent a bogus "impending catastrophe"
Market it to the people who want to be at fault for all the worlds ills.
When the original concept is proven bogus (Global Warming) reinvent it as "Climate Change"
Rinse & repeat.

Oh, don't forget to take all that money and spend it on private jets, lavish energy wasting houses and fake companies to sell off "carbon credits" (Which he made up too ).

Still think he doesn't have a clue ?  Morals, no, clue yes.

I think you mean the Nobel Peace Prize. What a joke.
Nobel of course invented modern dynamite. Go figure.

And like most people who have taken the time to try to understand the "climate change" argument, the Copenhagen deal is nothing but a giant scheme to transfer wealth from wherever they can get it, to those that dont, with of course a huge chunk taken out (probably almost all of it!) for the middleman, so he can tell you how to live your life. :villagers:

Obama is a politician, he will say what he feels his party wants him to say and atempt to do what he feels most of the people want done. Just like every other bean counter in Washington. Why do you think so many just voted against the health reform bill in the house, (only passed by 5 votes) an attempt to save their butts come next election. They for the most part (at least the ones with common sense) voted as they beleieved their respective districts wanted them to vote. Except in my district, he voted just the opposite of the majority of people's wishes. He is firmly tied to Polisi's apron strings. I don't care if your Democrat or Republican, it takes political guts to vote against the majority party in power.  :2cents:

Obama can sign it all he wants to, but the Senate has to ratify it with a 2/3 majority, good luck getting that to happen.

We had better hope you are right, otherwise we are doomed to much higher taxes, higher costs for anything we buy that involves energy in its production and delivery, higher unemployment, and a decreased standard of living for most Americans. :2cents:
The Cap and Trade bill promises to be one of the biggest disasters in US political history!

Just like Kyoto, which was never signed by Clinton, and of course had ZERO votes in the senate, and then Clinton, in a political stroke of evil genius as he left office in 2001 said that Bush should sign it!
Copenhagen wont happen either. It'll just be another opportunity for the eco-liberals to whine about how evil we are and how we pollute the world.
I believe for the amount we produce and manufacture, and the regulations we have in place, we're probably the cleanest country on earth.

If you check out the article it says that the climate change issue is a smoke screen just as the whole scam of global warming. Check into this Copenhagen issue, otherwise if I was to spell it out this thread would be deleted.   :villagers:
