 :iagree: It ain't cheap. If you go to Hotchkis' website they have all of the parts with prices. You can get all of the same results from the Firm Feel products for a lot less money.

No, Hotchkis parts are not cheap. I think their upper control arm sets are almost $800, or more than twice what most tubulars are going for. Everything else in their line is between 25-100% more than other parts. However, like XV and AlterK, they are one of the few manufacturers that applied generally accepted engineering principals to their designs, then tested to confirm improvements and can provide data on the changes. However, if you have done any detailed in reading in the mopar chassis manuals, you'll know that bumpsteer changes are not rocket science and can net decent road feel improvements. On teh flip side though, understanding your bump steer cruve will also allow you to know how to make it work for you as well. Any good alignment shop can provide thrust data and coach you on improvements to the rears relationship to the front. Similarly, changes in effective length in upper control arms can significantly alter other geometry factors such as anti-dive, and dynamic camber and caster gain. It's not real complex and is something that can be adapted to a mopar relatively easily if your willing to do the geomtery analysis, but a little beyond the average enthusiasts comfort range. I've built geometry corrected control arms for competition cars that allow you to adjust a multitude of geometry parameters, and done it for under $100. I just never thought about getting into the manufacturing side of things with them and marketing them since the knowledge was so widely available to anyone that cared to look for it. Certainly the growing mopar handling comunity has proven me wrong in that perception. I will say that their strut rods look interesting and are of a similar design to one I've used in the past. Getting rid of the strut rod movement under hard braking nets a big result in road feel that is almost always overlooked in mopar suspneion build ups.

Anyone else have this set up on their car?

I wonder if they sell the parts without all the plating?  I would like to do something like that but I really like the stock look of older muscle cars.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I cant imagine those few changes would make a huge difference in my car. I've got heavy sway bars f & r and moog poly bushings everywhere. My car has been described as a total tank with all the weight (440-6, iron everything, scattershield, a/c, power everything, etc etc).
Those upper a arms...whats so different about them from stock? Is it the adjustments you can make with them. I mean, they look cool, but they perform the same functions as the stock a arms dont they?  They just stiffer??
I think what my car could use is some chassis/frame stiffening ala torque boxes and maybe the connectors. Now that would probably go a long way toward improving the stock handling.

Typically, no, control arms in and of themselves won't make a big diference in a 440+6, iron everything, heavily optioned car, or any car for that matter. Only an increase in total wheel rates will help you, and that goes beyond just big sway bars. What things like their altered control arms and bump steer kit do is refine the motion so that it is more linear and predictable in its motion. And yes, if you don't have a solid platform to start with, the entire body structure can become an active and inconsistent participant in the suspension motion.
