I honestly don't know at this point. I supposedly already own the motor but it isn't in my possession and I'm having a tough time getting anyone motivated. That's the way it goes with deals sometimes - the first person to get their stuff conveniently loses all interest in closing the deal. I try on a regular basis but I think I've annoyed everyone so much that they don't want to hear from me any more.

Yeah, that's originally a 318 car. Not to be picky but that grill has bent fins and it's warped. One of the wheel well trim pieces is too. Luckily, both of those are bolt-ons and the rest of the car looks pretty good. I'll sell mine (any of the 3) for that amount. ;)

Thanks, I'm selling it to finish the restoration on my 68 Charger R/T 4-speed.

For the people who are sure to ask, no, it's not for sale.

I tried to sell my soul to buy your car Troy, but the Devil wouldn't give me enough cash to close the deal  :roflsmiley: I still want this car...maybe if something positive happens in the near future.  Just keep torturing me with posts once in a while!  :hyper:

I think it's sold. I am expecting full payment tomorrow.

Figures, I sort of resigned myself to keeping it and started buying parts so, of course, someone pops up out of the blue and buys it (but not the parts).

Well congrats on the sale and I guess it was just not meant to be for me.  Fate must have another 68 R/T Charger waiting for me in the future.  Good luck with your 4-spd car  :2thumbs:

Nice Charger, congrats on the sale.  The 68's are my favorite and I love the color of this one.

I took it out again last night. A 3 hour trip is no problem. I go to a cruise-in near Cleveland every once in a while.

Troy, you ever go to the cruise-in at the Kroger on Rt 28 just outside of Milford on Friday nights?  I know it's a little ways from Hamilton but it's a nice little cruise-in if you ever get over that way.  On a nice day like this past Friday, it gets pretty packed.

I go there fairly often. My parents live on the next road past Kroger. I don't get there very early though since I work in Mason and my garage is in Fairfield.

Well that's interesting, where in Mason do you work?  I live and work in Mason.

Yeah, traveling from Mason to Fairfield and then back to Milford would be a lot of ground to cover.

I work on Courseview by the tennis center. If I can manage to get started early enough in the morning I can drive the car to work which makes it a lot easier.

My parents live in house right next to the golf course, in the older neighborhood.  Their yard backs up to one of the greens.  I work just a couple miles away from there at a company called L-3 Communications.  People at work are always asking me when I'm going to drive one of my cars to work but I'm always just too paranoid to leave them sitting out in the parking lot all day.
