You might want to PM 72challorange about the first one from duncan mototrsports.  He might have some insight because I think he sold one several months ago....  :dunno:
Thanks I'll ask Tom about it!

Hey Steve ( Quapman) does yours have different wood grips available? :dunno:
I like the angle position on yours! I just don't know about the trigger? How much are they?

Hi Brad

I only have plastic grips on mine. I was never able to make decent wood ones. Pistols have triggers, right? LOL

Either style Auto-Grip is $175 + shipping.

Neil (Chrycho) bought one of each at Carlisle for his customers. He may be able to give you an unbiased review.

I installed both within a week of returning from Carlisle , Both of my customers love them , the angled stick feels better in 1st gear than the straight stick , the trigger is much more natural than the lift up style , the quality is great & both fit & work great .
If I ever buy an auto car I will buy another one from Steve for it but don`t hold your breath

Jason at Gunslinger, no longer sells the hand carved wooden grips that I use on my pistol grip. The guy in the Philippines that carved them retired. If you were lucky enought to get a set like Mike, great. Everything he sells now is plastic.

My dream has always been to have a set of OEM grips digitally measured, create a CAD file and machine wood ones on a CNC mill. Lack of resources keeps the dream at bay.

Brad, I'll have an A-G packed and weighed tomorrow and PM the info to you. (I'll be out of town today (Sat.)

Q-man...Do the "stock" grips fit your product?... Plenty of Wood & other grips out there for the OE shifters.

My handles are built around Year One's repro grips, which are very close, but not an exact match to OEM. I would have to modify an internal part of the Auto-Grip and add some spacers in the screw holes. It it very do-able, I just have not done it as of yet.

It may have something to do with the ratio of time spent here and on the cars vs. time spent on my product!

Glad you're happy Brad!

...and I can't believe it took so long to get there, wow. You live in Barrie, not Bavaria, right?

I won't be able to do much for a couple days, but the wife is coming home tomorrow. I might get a couple minutes to check inventory and send info on the weekend.

Thanks

Yes Steve does have them for both 1970 and 71-74 I have both years of shifters and chose the 71-74 even though I have a 70.
