anyone used helper springs?
« on: November 22, 2009 - 09:04:18 AM »
Hi all!
I have a work van (86 Chevy G20  Van)that when loaded down with equipment it sags at the rear end about an inch or two. I was thinking about those "helper spring" kits? They seem cheap enough? I know the best bet would be to just change the springs but I'm on a budget.
Anyone have experiance with them?
Thanks Brad

Yea they work decently for the money. Usually u can get them in a 250 or 500 # version.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

My buddy in the RV business installs them all the time for folks with light trailers, only the adjustable ones. http://www.hellwigproducts.com/

He recommends Air Bags for heavier applications.
