I have a 69 Dart and a 69 Satellite, both in the same general state of disrepair. I had the hoods of both leaning against the house, and noticed the Dart hood is a full 6" wider than the Satellite. Surprised me.

Next time you're at a Mopar show, play stupid and wager a few bucks on the Dart hood being the widest. Send half the money you win to me. Or, when you're snuggling your wife at night, you could lean over and whisper in her ear "Honey, did you know Dart hoods are- well, never mind". Don't send your wife to me. I got one.

I'm just going by memory here, but maybe the top of the fenders on the Dart are not so wide. So that's why it needs a wider hood...But still, I would have bet on the Satellite for sure.

What about wider than C-Bodies?  That would be the money winner.
