What is the difference between the '70 and '71 Challenger dash center speaker cover?

I think on the 70 the 4 corner pegs that the screws go into are longer. You have to either have the right year or saw some of that peg off to make it fit the later year dashes. Might be the other way around but I think I got it right.

It was too long ago to remember, but I had to shorten 2 legs off my speaker cover once. Now was that to put a later year cover on my 70 dashpad, or was it to put a 70 cover on the 71 dashpad that I was using temporarily...  :banghead:
