I got a new job as a Supervisor yall!
« on: November 24, 2009 - 08:14:09 PM »
I'm pretty excited, I start on the 1st. I have to go through orientation, drug screening and a physical. I can't wait, I've been waiting for an opportunity to be a supervisor for a couple years now. I'm gonna have to move up to Arkansas now. At least it's not too far from Texas!

WTG  I drove by your town I do believe last week. I was wondering about you. But I drove 2k miles from 3am sat to 3pm sun and was very tired.  Hope your sup job is funner than mine. Pays good, its the self motivation that gets to me.  Best of luck

I pick up a new Sup trainee at the airport on Sunday. Gonna drag him up to around bowling green Kentucky.  I wonder how long he will last with helping me on a 1000 degree incinerator?  Hope he pans out. We lost 4 or 5 sup trainees in the last 6 months.

Again, best of luck to your new job.  Stay away from sesemie seeds and texas Payotie

What kind of work do you do in the oildfield? I"m an engineer as well and work in the oilfield here in Canada. I"m actively looking for a rotational job in the states that I can fly in and out. Canada doesn't have many jobs like that and the lack of schedule is starting to get to me.  I do directional drilling/MWD.  :2thumbs:

Badfish, are you on Rigzone? I see ads on there for MWD a lot. You should check it out. I work in Coiled Tubing. I pretty much just work in Arkansas, but they can send us wherever they need us. I bet working in Canada sucks, it being muddy up there for half the year.
