 WOW, I would buy it if I had the Money and did not have a dead Tractor that needs fixing. As far as someone wanting the Matching numbers for a 72 fram rails. I would tell them "yea right"  :screwy:

Wish I was in a better spot financially, I would go for it. I bet it will not last long with or without the before pics.

This is why I asked;

Quote
This a 71 Challenger Conv I will be making a Pace Car out of. It was a very very Rough conv and I took it and a junk 2dr HT cut all the top part off conv about 6" down and weled it into the 2dr floor pans and frame rails. I have installed a 440 auto Shaker Hood. This is the only way I could ever afford a E body conv.

from his website at this link;

http://charger4x4.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=5951016

The photos show that it has a 1972 cowl, so what numbers match? 1972? Or? :dunno:

You brought this 1 back from the grave, did you do the body work/repair yourself?  Impressive

Hi 72 never had #s it was a drag car many years no dash rad suport cut out. Cowl#s I guess? I parted it out and sold roof doors fenders. so when I got this car this was the perfect car for trans plant. I used the  dash from conv which bolted in. welded the top 6-8" of conv on top. used doors of misc junked cars. still have orig drivers door with orig sticker if anyone wanted it? bought repo sticker for new door.? fenders 1 orig 1 used off another car. had to put rad suport off conv to replace missing one on parts car. yes has 72 inner fenders and cowl so may not be corect. But will never be corect car anyway so who cares drive the wheels off it. And yes Barry you already have it in your damaged vins list for anyone to see.

Looks like you did use the convertible rocker panels on the re-born car, correct?  Also, did you put any extra reinforcements anywhere in it?

I guess it could be registered as a kit car that way right :clueless:  Because there was no 72 verts, and the car is 2 pieces. What did the dmv say when you tittled it? Just curious. Cool car. You spent a lot of time doing that. If it were me, I'd make sure it is tittled right by Motor vehicles, so you dont have a problem.

Sounds like all the 71 vert title & body #s are still there,just put together with a lot of donor parts.
