Do you have your fender tags/ build sheet?

I had a fake fender tag made, with my best guesses. I had no build sheet, but this is common for cars from the L.A. plant.

I have the tag, but only a partial build sheet.  Hoping one day another will be found.

Mine is an LA car too, but someone swapped out the original burnt orange interior for a 1974 Challenger interior in black ( seats etc.) so The build sheets are long gone? I just replaced the glove box and none there either?

I have both and fill lucky to have them.  Not that my car was a high option and or rare, but so many have nothing to go on so I am happy to have them.

Neither one. Car had the wrong build sheet (sent to Barry) and threw the fender tag away    because I didn't know any better back then (like that's changed much)

The whole idea came to me when I pulled both my tags and build sheet out of my fire box. I'm getting ready to strip the doors and needed the numbers to send to ECS for a new sticker to be made.

FWIW, I highly advise getting a fire box or put the items in a safe deposit box at least.

If there is a registry for your make & model you can send a tag photo / broadcast sheet scan in. This way there is a record of what you had at another location as a backup if anything happens to your originals. 

Keep in mind also, if you send a low resolution scan, a blurry photo or a black & white photo copy, that is what you will get back if you need it. So, take the time to get clear high resolution images.

I was lucky enough to be the 2nd owner and have fender tag and found 2 build sheets and owners manual and window sticker and all paper work , brochures and the original trash bag that hangs on any knob

I have 2 Sheets and a Tag for the 72 and 1 sheet and a tag for the 70.

Got both for the barracuda, just a fender tag for the challenger.  Haven't really looked for the build sheet but the interior was redone before we got it so I'd be surprised if it's still there.

I have found them in a few cars that have had the seats redone. The only way to know is to look for yourself.

I looked high and low for my build sheet, never found it but the fender tag was intact.
