Have fender tags on both cars, no build sheet on the 73, haven't seen one on the 74 yet, not totally dismanteled yet but I doubt I'll get that lucky, mice got to a lot of areas on that car, so I might find scraps! Rich.

Well, you did have.......

I had to look for it. I have stacks of manuals & book everywhere, I left it under a stack of manuals to try to press it flat.  No luck, it is still poofy........

The paint overspray on it makes me nervous, I have not dealt with one in this condition before.  I'll try to flatten one section with other means now & see how it goes though.

I have bolth of them,found my fender tag in a box of old/rusty 340 parts that came with the car.
I guess it payed off to rummage though it!

I have the fender tag and a partial build sheet. Mice ate the best part of the build sheet.

I have fender tag and a small thin piece of tag that was screwed under it with very faint stamped numbers on it and door tag was in very good condition,found a postage size piece of sheet under drivers seat carpet,looks like it disolved.

Keep every scrap of it.  That assembly tag, the thin strip, is really cool to have.
That was stamped by assembly line workers and I believe that it was supposed to be ripped off when it reached the end of the line.

I only have the VIN tag on my 383 4 speed car....car was totally stripped and gutted when I rescued it....would love to find the BC Sheet at some point, as its an early Hamtramck production car....

I guess you can`t make a legit fender tag from the biuldsheet like we all thought,only a "fake" one.  :clueless:
