What to do on a Winning Bidder who does not pay
« on: December 01, 2009 - 12:56:19 AM »
Guess what. E-bay says sorry and will not help. Heck you can't even send a Bill or a request payment through them.  There has to be laws about jerks who win a auction and then don't pay.  Isn't there Federal laws to protect us from these jerks :stomp: :banghead: :villagers:

Have you sent the item, yet?  If not, all you can do is file a complaint through Ebay as a Non-Payer, and they will supposedly get a strike on their account.  That happened to me, once (I was the seller who did not get paid).  The ridiculous thing is the strike is not public, so no one else will know about it.

I had that happen to me twice, once on a part and once on a car. I notifed ebay both times, one guy got his account shut down (must have gotten several strikes in the past) and the other got a strike on their account. I also left negative feedback on both (this was before ebay stopped sellers ability to leave negative feedback) explaining what happened.
