That would be great but: I live in a city, the garage barely lets me open driver side door and get in ;) I have no time and tools and here you can't just rent a place in a worshop and repair your car as in the states. Everything forces me to pay someone to do the job. I have to relay on their experience, feed them with my and this forum knowledge and then pay... and pray :)

I had a feeling that might be your case.

I've been to Eastern Europe a couple years ago and I recall that additional space comes at a premium. Very few places with big garages.

I also agree that there is no reason to invest in new upper cowl. The damage is very minor on those parts that it should be pretty easy to fix them so that it is hard to tell that anything has been worked on.
