Holy crap - nothing is going my way..:-(

Started out to change my 68 Cuda's front disc. system with a 73 type, - 1 piston caliper and 4½" bolt pattern..

First, - coulden get anything apart...

Then, - the upper balljoint was to thin for the new spindles, - new balljoints ordered..

The brake hoses too old, - new ones ordered...

Then, - one airscrew broke in the caliper, - new calipers ordered...

The new balljoints arrived to day, - too thick for the A-arm..???

I'm in for giving up, - and just give the car away....   :bricks1:

By the way, - got the rigth engine mounts to day too, - they just don't fit...   :eek4:

Replacing the ball joints/upper control arms with the larger ones is one of the good things about this swap.

If it were easy it would have a bowtie or a blue oval on it.  Have patience, it will go together and your car will be much better for it.

Hang in there. Frustration is one of the many benefits of owning an old car. Believe me I know. I use mine for everyday transportation and if its not one thing its another.

BTW you do have to replace the upper control arms when you make that brake swap.

OK, - if I, against all odds, manage to remove the a-arms from the 73 Valle, - will the fit straigth on the 68 Cuda, - with NO problems..???
