V1X stripe option
« on: December 02, 2009 - 10:23:49 AM »
What does the V1X code mean on the fendertag from a 1970 barracuda gran coupe. It's not the vinyl roof option since that code is on the fendertag as well. This is the last code before the END of the tag, and that place should be for the various stripe options. My little white book doesn't know.

Thanks,

Antoon

:clueless:  I thought the V1X code was the coe for black vinyl top?  I think that's what's on my fender tag for my car...  :dunno:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

It is. If it is an LA built car then the vinyl top code is listed twice on the tag.

Then you've solved it. It's an LA car indeed. Thanks.
