Help - STOLEN MOPAR - 1970 Dodge Challenger
« on: December 03, 2009 - 05:08:03 AM »
Fellas...

My 1970 Dodge Challenger was stolen from my driveway this morning in Las Vegas.  I just finished a long road trip late last night immediately after returning from Afghanistan and parked my baby in my driveway in my supposedly "safe" gated community.  When I awoke in the morning she was gone...I checked with all tow companies in the city to no avail.  She is a R/T clone with a 440, VIN JH23G0B372108, Nevada plates 555 VNC.  I'll add pictures to my profile shortly. Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks for the help...Brad.

Sorry to hear it. Is it the one in your avatar? I will let my brother in law know who lives in Albuquerque. Maybe we can put out an Amber Alert and get this one back and put a scumbag behind bars.

:villagers:    :banghead:    :swear:    :stomp:    :pullinghair:     I HATE thieves....   With the capability to transport cars in enclosed trailers, she could be anywhere. Post this on as many websites as you can and hope someone, somewhere spots her for you. I will keep my eyes peeled in Georgia for any "new" Challys that might show up....     :2thumbs:  I will also keep my eyes on the classifieds.  Good luck my friend....

Man that is terrible!
Make sure you post on Moparts, they will "sticky" the car stolen post in the General section, where thousands of Mopar enthusiasts worldwide will see it.
There is currently a post about a brown '67 Barracuda convertible stolen recently in MN posted on Moparts, everyone keep an eye out for that car too!!
I think a lot of stolen specialty cars from the US get smuggled to Europe.

I just posted about this stolen Challenger on Moparts, hopefully it helps find it and bring the creeps who stole it to justice!

 >:(  That's horrible.  Hope you get your car back soon!

If it's a gated community, is it possible that someone living in that area helped the thieves or could they just wait until another car leaves the area through the gate?  If there aren't too many people to contact, I would try to let others who live around you know, maybe they saw something or saw the car get stolen...  :dunno:

Unreal. This is horrible news. Looks like an amazing car. You're out defending our country only to come home and be robbed.  :swear:

I prey there is a good police force there.

Maybe post in Craigslist too as to alert the general public?
