Anyone heard from the OP about any progress or leads finding his car?  He hasn't posted since his original posting AFAIK. :dunno:

these kinda posts scare the crap outta me ... i have a 71 challenger and i NEVER EVER park it on the street ...

three of my neighbors have classic fords ... Torino & 2 stangs... i ALWAYS see them park those badboys on the street

I had a 96 Sentra .... a FREAKIN 96 Sentra lol and that got broken into... they stole my Amp and stereo and broke my window ... ever since then i never park my cars outside ....

I receive some bad news this morning about a part that I had taken to a machine shop. Pretty upset until I got on this site to air my veiws and saw what some scum-bag had did to you.  Hope the Challenger shows up soon and returned to you.-  Semper-Fi - Keep the faith as there are some good people in the world and a lot of them are reading this site.

Well I hate to say this but join the club, My 70 Challenger RT was also stolen in April of 08 and so far no luck in getting it back.  I hope your story turns out better then mine has so far.  Maybe we could swap information if you have a detailed description of the vehicle.  I live in NC and you never know were something might turn up.  To bad somebody doesn't have a database on stolen mopars or something of the sort for people to be on the lookout for.  These cars have to have went somewhere, I don't think they loaded them on a rocket and shipped them to Saturn or something.  I know how you must feel, I live it everyday.  Keep us posted on what happens and don't give up.  I had an 89 Mustang GT stolen 3 months after my Challenger, car had been gone for a year, and I managed to find it, recover it and find out who took it.  I think this fellow probably took my Challenger also but it hasn't surfaced.  Good Luck.

still no luck on my car...vanished into thin air:(  cops say they don't "actively search" for stolen cars here, they just leave it in the system and watch for the plates or VIN to show up in the system if it gets pulled over or somebody tries to register it somewhere...doesn't sound very promising to me.

Keep an eye on Ebay and Craigslist.  A lot of times they are taken and then parted out.  Parts are worth more money then the whole car sometimes.
