So it seems that what i'm hearing is that to establish the height that I want, It would be safe to say that stock height leaf springs from espo is probably what I want. Is that correct? As for torsion bars & shocks, I was thinking of going with 1 inch bars from Just Suspensions along with KYB Gas adjust Shocks cause espo does not sell them. Can I get some feedback on this. All of your comments are helping me a lot. Thanks everyone.

I have 1" t- bars from just suspension with a 440 and I'm close the the end of adjustment to get the nose down. I bet with a 360 you will need the dropped spindles from Magnumforce to get your adjustment back?( the nose will sit to high) I'm still considering the dropped spindles. :2cents:

I have the XHD leafs from MP and my car sits about the same as Katfish's, but there seems to be some variance in ride height with each set (from the feedback on this site) so I would think Espo would be the way to go to get the height you want. I believe stock height springs will leave about an inch of tire covered by the quarter when viewed from the side.
I kind of have the same feeling as Brads70 as to the size of the front torsion bars, you may not be able to get the nose down with a small block. .96's may be a better choice?
As for shocks, I have Edelbrock IAS shocks and really like them. KYB's may be as good or better but I've never owned any.

OK...If I go with the stock springs & .096 T-bars do you think that I will need the dropped spindles? Sorry to keep this going but I want to order these parts tomorrow or by the end of the week. I appreciate everyone's advice.

I don't know for sure about the .960 bars with a 360? If HP2 doesn't chime in I'd PM him. He was helpful when I chose my size?

.96 with a small block is a great starting point. They are 2-3 steps up from stock, depending on what you started with, and will still provide a nice ride with improved driving manners without being harsh. They are not so stiff that you'll need a big step up in shocks to control them either. Combined with XHD leafs and a 1.125 front sway bar and you have a very solid, street friendly combo that changes the character of your car.

.96 bars will not need drop spindles to maintain a low ride height. The adjuster bolts will stick out more than stock though if you do run them low.
