I saw that too...     And the texture looks...      It does have better bracing with the return flanges.They appear to be lower than the MAS. Watch out!!   Fit up looks alright. Hopefully they won't be over 150 bucks. Because they will get hit if your not careful. Might get more than one. Are the scoops to allow more air to the brakes? Do you have to duct them then?

The plastic is a bit wavy but I think the light direction makes it look worse than it is.I think I would sand it smooth and paint it to match my rear spoiler and tailpanel anyway.

I think I'm going to buy one.  I've already got the MAS one all painted and was planning on making brake ducts fit around the lower grille, but I think I'll get one of these for track use.

I think that is a good idea. This one will be a lot more effective because it's lower. I know it's lower but the MAS one is fiberglass and the ABS plastic will give some rather than crack like fiberglass. 

I know someone that has the original fiberglass version of the ABS plastic one offerred now. That fiberglass on has been repaired a couple of times and it's absolutely baby driven.

This spoiler will make a difference. For reference a much shorter and narrower 69 Camaro spoiler reduced front lift from 400lbs upward to 250lbs upward. When they also put on the rear spoiler, that pushed the rear down 75lbs down (from 25lbs without). But the rear spoiler tilted the front up and the front gained lift to 300lbs lift http://www.yearone.com/enthusiast/restoarchives/winter99/18-21camaro.pdf

This ABS spoiler is like the ones actually used in Trans Am in 1970 and I'm sure has more downforce than a narrow short 69 Camaro spoiler.

I'm pretty sure MAS went out of business but does anyone know whether someone else is manufacturing their cuda front spoiler.  I was told that another business was going to continue thier fibreglass products but the number they gave me was wrong?

Somebody on E bay was selling stuff they they were making fron the old MAS molds.

Sounds good travis.  Did you get the one with the brake cooling vents or not?   Iam curious how much clearance to the ground  after the install

Last weekend, I finally mocked up the spoiler with some clamps to see how it fits.  Eventually I'll install it with quick release fasteners which will make it easy to install and remove when I go to the track.  The spoiler seems to fit great and it's made out of a nice thick plastic.  Since the engine in my car is not installed, it sits up high and had 6.75" of ground clearance with the spoiler.  I figure ride height on the car will probably lower the front another 2".

I would like to have an abs version based on the MAS piece. I'll keep my eyes peeled just in case someone starts making them.
You know, with all of this great new stuff coming out, I'm spending way too much money lately.
