Gonna replace my windshield in the old Daytona.  Any tips out there ?  I figure on piano wire and elbow grease.

I broke the last two I tried to remove and ripped the rubber part of the windshield trim(and I wanted the trim more than I wanted the glass)

First rule I teach my guys.... take your time!!!  second rule, this is glass not plywood, dont twist under it with a knife or screwdriver. third rule DONT use one of those big windshield cut out knives or the aluminum one with the cable and the T-handle. They are actually made for remioving busted ones. Now if its already broke... forget rules 1,2 and 3....

I like rule 4 the best, problem is,  mine's busted and the one I found to replace it is "come and get it".  :dunno:

I keep parking the Daytona thinking I'm done working on it, then I find the parts to get it back on the road too cheap to pass up.
