DIY camber gauge
http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/534269-diy-alignment-how-make-camber-caster-gauge.html
You can calculate your caster by measuring the distance between two vertical parallel points on the steering knuckle ,(I used the upper & lower ball joint grease fittings) Then measure these points against a perpendicular straight edge. The difference of that measurement & a little geometry & you get the angle.

I started with the rear upper control arm bushings maximum in & the front maximum out, both sides measured the same with 2.08 degrees positive caster.

Now you know .... I spent about 4-hours on mine, not including all the reading.
If your gonna pay anyway save all that time & just go to the pro.

Just use your eyes and get it close and then take it to a pro to align it. A level might be handy too.

How far to the shop that will align it? If it's more than say 10 miles, I would probably look to have it towed. If you're even a little bit off on your guesstimations, you could drive it straight into a ditch if your roads are kind of rough.
