3 rubber bumpers at aft end of hood don't touch cowl

The 3 bumpers, 2 short and 1 long, don't even come close to touching the cowl.  Look to be short by about 1/4-1/2 inch each.  I can make clay 'posts' to find the actual height needed.
What is the correct length for these bumpers?  Who sells them without buying another bumper kit?   Thanks.

 :thinkerg:good question,i have the same problem on my -70 cuda.i havent checked iff the middle rear hood bumper touches the cowl,but those two outers sure have a long way to go to touch the cowl,a very long way. so i agree..whyyyyy

I bought a new body bumber set from ebay, cant remember the seller (Van's auto mayby). The drivers side was dead on match in the terms of height. The bumber is sitting againts the cowl and my hood is dead on match with the fender. On drivers side I had to trim a bit off from the bumber as it was slightly too long. I'm not sure about the middle one as it could be that I haven't even installed it yet. I kinda run out of the weekend when I was working with those few months ago.

Here's pics of the fit on the chally.  Ended up using "long" bumpers on each end of the hood, and will make up a long bumper for center location.

I haven't tried that yet.  Could be the problem is the Goodmark hood inner structure does not match OEM contour.  When I buy the cowl seal I'll post pics of the fit to the hood.
