What new stuff would you like to see?
« on: December 10, 2009 - 07:00:00 PM »
Sorry if this has been done, but what new repo parts would you love to see some one make,or are made now but not available at time you started your project.
Like 1970 Challenger grill, complete,or in my case 72-74,I would like them to make.
And the goodmark full trunk and full front floor would not be out for a year or two when I did mine.

Kelly,

I saw someone making a repro of the center section of the 70 Challenger grill on E-Bay today. The cost was..  :money:

But this was a first for me seeing that.   :grinyes:

A good 72-74 repro grill for the Cuda would be great. The one that is out there I heard warps in the sun.

How about a complete convertible top assembly?  Good luck with that one.  I would settle for the wide front chrome sets for the 71 Challengers.

That is the worst,a new product coming out right after you make due with out.And making due with out, could cost a lot of $, for an NOS part,or hrs of patching. The day I installed a clear coated aluminum March pulley kit with brackets in my 440,in the mail came a Summit book and March had just now offerd the serpentine kit for almost same $. :faint:

Some might remember when I was cobbling a complete quarter panel together right before it was announced they were available.  :bricks1:

It would've worked, but just too much work later on I could foresee.

Right now I need 72-74 Barracuda seat foams, decent grille and interior door panels.

There are a lot of parts available now that weren't when I needed them a few years ago.  Tail light panel, one piece floor pans, door skins, to name a few...Wow, we've come a long way!  Guess we'll have an easier time when we decide to do the Challenger.
