Would you believe I have hear that hyd. oil like from John Deer is the "best" to use in racing trans?

Some drag racers use compressor oil from john deere to change the stall a little bit. I have used standard Dexron II in my 727, its behind 750hp engine, no problems so far.

Type f used to be recomended for hp mopar transmissions in the 80's as I recall.  This was in drag racing applications and such.

I have heard this same thing.
