Wife had Neck Surgery
« on: December 12, 2009 - 03:10:25 PM »
Rather than continuing to hijack those other posts, I just want to say "thank you" again to those who gave us support recently.

My woman, Cherie was hospitalized last week after a trip to our regular Dr. She had been having tingling in her fingers and loss of leg muscle control. After four MRI's it was determined that she had major problems with vertebrae and disks in her neck.

Semi-emergency surgery was performed this past Tuesday when she had two disks and one vert. removed and a titanium cage installed.

She's home now and though uncomfortable, recovering nicely.

She didn't have an accident or fall, apparently this is just something that can progress over time.
My name is Steve and I'm addicted to Challengers...

Wow, that sounds pretty serious. Hope she's back to 100% soon.

Good luck with her recovery.Back problems seem to run in my family-my sister had scoliosis which is a curvature of the spine and had to have a rod put in her back when she was 16,she`s had problems ever since.I had surgery for 2 herniated discs and my other sister also had the same surgery-no fun.
