Im addicted to e body parts
« on: December 12, 2009 - 04:50:31 PM »
I for the life of me cant understand why I want to buy everything I see for an e body.  I have 55 saved/watched items on My Ebay, I cruise all over looking for deals, I go broke at times just trying to buy stuff I really dont actually need at the present time.

There seems to be bunches of deals every where I look.     As long as I stay away from venders that have the high priced stuff , im ok.    Seems im always on a quest, trying to satisfy an urge that will not stop.

Rant off

Barry I haven't done much spot weld drilling lately, hurt my left thumb pretty good about 6 months ago.Its just starting to come back to full use, maybe it will be a good spring hunt for a good candidate to drill apart :smilielol:

Doug, I have not seen your thumb that I can recall, but I am pretty sure it has no spot welds in it to drill out.

(Just in case no one told you)  ;)

I just won this a little while ago. Dont even know why I bought it. Except it has a part number.  Vertman is shipping me some 15x10 ralley rims, like I needed them. I bought  .018 thick head gaskets and max wedge intake gaskets a couple of days ago. I didnt even need them.  I bought a new set of kb 237 pistons last week, so now im building an engine again.   I bought other stuff to, but my wife could be reading this post :smilielol:

I know an individual who apparently shops for relaxation. They purchase stuff off the home shopping channels, and have SIX storage units packed full of unopened boxes. It's not unusual for UPS to drop off half-dozen boxes a day at their house.

I buy more stuff that I dont need at times. I have more of a problem with buying something, then decide to go a different route. Then I have to buy more parts, for my new idea.

:dunno: Sorry guys, I've never had such problems. I buy what I can use/need for the cars I have. Must be the way my ole Scottish grandfather raised me.  The only straying I've done is the buying of 5  440 engines, of which one is in use, one is waithing to go into the Dart, one is promised, and two are just sitting around.  :roflsmiley: Sounds like some of you guys are buying parts so you have an excuse to buy cars so you can  use them.  :smilielol:
