    I bought a 1970 340 from a buddy last night. I dont need it lol. I am hoping to get an a body sometime in the future and love 340's. Its a standard bore 340 build in late 69. Its already disassembled and comes with the 2.02 O heads(never seen that before) I thought all 2.02 heads were "J" heads? I thought it was a great find for a 70 standard bore 340 complete for 500 bucks.

    Heck I would have bought it too.

    Look at it as an investment, can always sell it later-likely for more than $500

    I just bought a 1972 passenger car parts book.

    Its old, a little ratty and smells funny (just like me), and I may not use it a lot --- but I wanted it.  LOL

    Hey, we could be spending our money on a lot worse stuff.  :money:

    Is there a partial VIN on it?

    If so, advertise it and sell it to the owner of the car it came from...for a price ($$$) that is.
