I have the sickness too. I paid $1200 for a complete, rebuilt 73 cast crank 340, about 5 years ago. The guy never fired it and went to a big block. It sits in the corner of my garage on wheels.

we wouldn't have any parts to use on our pride and joy's! They would have all been crushed years ago!
