Could you post up a picture of the throttle cable mount side of the carbs. I would like to see it to make some changes to mine.
Thanks
Dave

i would have guess that, no problem, just so you know, we are running the stage 5 marine intake which spreads the carb a bit more than the oe afb intake, Have twin 650 AVS thunder series carbs. I will snap a couple pics for ya. main reason for this route for intake and carbs is the shaker base plate fitment.

It would appear I see my problem, my intake does not have a provision for the center spring mount. I have it temporarily on with one bolt.
At wide open does your spring hit the linkage on the front carb?
Thanks
Dave

i dont believe so. I will have to check monday and see, I do know we moved the throttle cable back so the cable has adequate throw now. I'll post a pic of that monday as well.

Dave, here are the other pics I mentioned, We had to modify the cable mounting bracket, by moving it back. also we had to shorten the red spring to keep the front carb closed, We got this fired up today and it is mean as hell.
