Dave, here are the other pics I mentioned, We had to modify the cable mounting bracket, by moving it back. also we had to shorten the red spring to keep the front carb closed, We got this fired up today and it is mean as hell.
Thanks for the picture, it will help when I get back to work on mine. :2thumbs:
Dave

no problem, well here is the weeks progress and problems that arose on my 15 hour day on saturday. I planned on getting the grille in and the bumper and valance, ect in BUT, as it goes nothing goes to plan when completely building a car.

well what we have here is a fitment issue from Goodmark with the grille and fenders, The headlamp mount that welds into the fenders are out to far and I could not mount the bezels with out them hitting the retainer for the head lamp. I looked at our other car and they are pushed out as well with OE fenders, I didnt like it so I went ahead and removed the lamp mounting ring from both sides and reinstalled them roughly

left side came out ded nuts center, the right side is close, looks like our other car now and the grille and buckets fit pretty good. bumper went on nice with the road lamps and the valance, Just finish spraying the lower insert so that will havew to go in. finished up the rear pipe and the tips with the valance. 3 inch exhaust still is a little tricky. Blacked out the tail panel and rear to buttom up the rear end,

cut out switch is left of column and just right of the heater control, Nice size pocket in the dash frame. The switch is a little tall but it fit well. the road lamp switch is left of this one.

SOUNDS AWESOME with the open exhaust, I was rolling it around in the back lot this afternoon. Did a couple hard launches from one end to the other to see how the new brake system works, ran out of room in first gear. front end alignment on saturday, go over the paint again, and maybe an actual road test drive. I think I rolled one mile in the back lot. these BFG wont last long after next weeks show. when the second carb opens up man what a huge difference in power.
