Throttle cable for a 318?

My throttle cable is toast!  Today I brought the car by my buddies house. He helped me with some tuning issues.  One of the tings we did was to adjust the throttle cable. Unfortunatly it was frayed and we lost the end plug down into a hole between theintake and head. 

So whats the best throttle cable and end, and the best place to get it?

throttle cables can be found,,I would be worried about the piece that fell between the head an intake,,if it falls under a valve it can hurt the valve and if it falls down past the valve it will fall on top a piston and cause damage to the piston an cylinder wall,,I may have read wrong what your saying but you want nothing dropping down to moving parts

It's not near any moving parts, it's in a void between the intake manifold, block and head.

  I ordered some stuff from Jack's, I am NOT impressed so far. I placed the order on the 22nd of this month, the parts were in stock according to Jack. I still do not have the parts. He did not bill my credit card, so that's OK. I called him twice yesterday, I asked him if the parts shipped, he said he would call me back both times I spoke to him.......So far, no return call.
  I ordered 12 header bolts from Mancini Racing, Art said they had them. Then he called back an hour later to tell me they could only find 8 of the 12 they THOUGHT they had.
  I REALLY like Mancini, that's the kind on communication I appreciate ! ! !

I did get a call back from Jack's on the 30th, they said the parts would ship that day...............

 My delivery from Jack's showed up today. I got a windshield washer bottle and a CHALLENGER emblem for the front fender....

 compared it side by side with the old one and they are identical.  I am hoping to have some time Saturday to put it on.

Whats that piece of metal taped to the cable.  Looks like a tool for working the clip?

I should have taken a picture of that sucker before I took it out.........
That is stuck through the plastic keeper clip that holds the cable to your fire wall. You'll have to snake your way upside down under your dash to remove that thing from the cable that is in you car now. You won't be able to get the original cable out until you remove the little metal piece.
  Once it is out, you can use a small to medium size pair of channel locks to squeeze/compress the plastic clip that holds the cable to the fire wall. You need that type of tool with open jaws to get the right angle, pliers won't work. It also helps to have a second person pulling gently on the cable from the front of the car. It's hard to squeeze the clip and push it out the front of the fire wall at the same time.
