Headliner Bows

Does anyone know which cars used the 4 or 5 bow headliner system...or is it just random......I checked my 72  challenger and there is a spot to put 5 headliner bows?????

or doesnt it matter....also what about the sail panel cleats.....do you need them too??

I was told:

4 bows for 1970
5 bows for the rest

My 70 has 4 bows

My 1970 Challenger R/T has 5 Bows. All original.  :)

hmmm... well i could be wrong.  maybe its the other way around and i have the wrong headliner in mine

Ill bet it doesnt matter because year one sells headliners according to bows......

Maybe it's just another Chrysler "rush" job. What ever was on hand while your car was being built is what you got?  ???
