Hey,
As long as it's solid, you have a great starting point. What engine does it have, and does it run?

  Mike - just curious.

yes it runs. it has the original motor and tranny. 318, auto 727, 8.75" rear end. it was a low optioned car but thats ok with me. all i have wanted for the last 12 years or so is a 70 Cuda. my plans are to make it a Plum crazy 440/6 pack clone with black interior no vinyl top and black hockey stripe. if money is good when the time comes to change the motor it may get a bigass crate hemi, for no other reason than thats what i want   ;D
i will be keeping all of the original motor tranny and so on too so i still can make it original if i want to in later years but im not sure why i would do that lol  8)

Congrats bowhunter ;)
It all sounds great. It looks like you might want to ditch those white walled tires, but other than that, go for it!!! The best of luck to ya.

Am I the only one wondering what's in that shed ? If a '70 Barracuda is in front of it, what's
behind those doors? 8)

lots of stuff nothing too interesting. its the other 50 or 60 cars that he has out in his field. he just junked a bunch of them from what i understand. one of them was a hang ten duster i believe. im not sure why he junked that because from what i understand they are pretty rare. he has a 68 charger that hes doing a little resto job on right now.

Looks solid enough but you'll probably find out it has some bad areas. When will you start on that? Or has the journey begun?  :D

:D Congrats MBH, "enjoy the ride" of restoration. And you will be surprised just how much sandblasting and primer will make that baby look so much better, it seems to be basically solid and a good starting project car. Going shaker with that 440+6?

:D That is an awesome start! I love those pictures of before the work begins, they should always be part of the project, take a lot of pictures as you go and a lot of the parts before you take them apart (they will come in real handy later!) Way to go MBH!  :D
