I have a 440 Cuda w/shaker:   Id like to run a Edlebrock performer intake manifold and a edlebrock carb

Has anyone run this ebrock combo (340 0r 383 or 440 guys) with a shaker and run into fit or hood clearance problems using the stock shaker set up?

the Eddy Performer intkae is the worst intkae to use , it will cost you power over using the stock Iron intake , Weiand makes the Stealth & Action + that may be low enough to use the other option is the Aluminum M1 Mopar intake but the original low profile version has been discontinued in favor of the RPM intake which is too high to use so you need to find the older version

This can be done but it will take some modification of the base plate buy using a drop base and molding it into the shaker base, maybe even shaving off some of the scoop as well.
