Another A78 71 Challenger in a new Book!!

I just got back from Barnes and Noble, I found a book called "Art of the muscle car"

a Barn find 71 Challenger in B5, 440+6 shaker hood B5

formal roof car!!  :woohoo: Now I know of about 11 or so cars like mine!!  :wow:

No Brett, someone has put that their, it was not part of the Formal Roof package to be called an SE. SE is 70 only thing. :2thumbs:

My '70 Rt/SE challenger had a white top. It also had the emblem. It came on the car from the factory.

Yeah, in 70 it was SE.

71 is Formal Roof. Our cars don't have Special Edition script on the door panels either.  :wave:

Has anybody seen any 1970 A78 cars? They were supposedly introduced around May. They did not include the medallions on the overhead consolette.

I didnt even know that a formal roof was even offered in 70. I thought it was just a 71 option.  :dunno:
