Well I just booked my flight and room as I've watched the price go up for the last 2 weeks and didn't want them to go up again this week. I'm flying out wed. afternoon and flying back home on monday evening. I hope the weather is warm as I'm tired of the cold here in southern Illinois. Hope to meet up with some of you there.

Oh man.....I would be so amped up if I was you  :jumping:   :swaying: :hyper:  :swaying:   :jumping:

Yea, I hear what your saying about the price going up and down...Was definitely the same deal when I booked in 08........even within the same day I saw my particular flight fluctuate by almost $200  :stomp: :swear: ......I waited till the very last minute, till I could no longer wait no more, and that day they went back down to the lowest I saw the whole time looking.
Sometimes it pays to wait
Anyhoo, hope you have a safe trip Jeff.....and please take a ton of pics for us lonely saps hanging back this year

Anyone who is going to be in Vegas later this month for Mopars at the Strip, can join Hotchkis and Keisler on Friday and Saturday for the first ever MATS autocross.

This is the perfect opportunity to try your hand (and gas/brake footwork) on a safe, low speed track. The planned 20 second course will be safe to run with any vehicle, and no helmets or previous experience are necessary.

The course is free to all MATS attendees, and instruction will be provided. If you still feel too shy to run your own car, 11-time national autocross champion Mary Pozzi will be on hand to offer demo rides in the Hotchkis and Keisler project Mopars.

Feel free to PM me with questions.

Yes I will be there, sorry I have not posted, I have been back in NY for a while helping my brother, taking him back and forth to the doctors and hospital every day, he is fighting Cancer and also has Kidney failure, so far he has had a foot removed, a hand partially removed and hunks of his body tissue removed, he has Melanoma, which is a skin cancer.

I will see everyone there......  :picture:

It was a 4 hour drive there.  I set the cruise on 80 and I didnt' slow down once. Left at 5:30 and rolled in at 9:30.   The drive back was another story.  I left at 3:15.  The 15 was a parking lot. It took a little over 2 hours to make it to the border 40 miles away.  There were actually cars driving across the desert parallel to the freeway thinking it would be faster.   I swung off the 15 through the Mojave state park and hit the 44.  That was clear sailing until I hit the 15 again. Then it was more gridlock until I hit south of Riverside.  I got home at 11:45 for a 8.5 hour trip!

It was a blast!  There were some awesome cars and some great racing.  The weather was perfect as well.  What a cool place. I will definetly go next year!

I took around 400 photos.  I will upload some when I get a chance.
