Remember the Sonic Cuda? The builder is looking for it.

The builder of the Sonic Cuda is looking for it. He would like to include it in a show this year. To refresh some memories;
The car was designed by Harry Bradley and built by Chuck Miller of Styline Customs. The car was lowered two and a half inches. The front end was re-styled into a sleek new beak with chin spoilers. All door handles and the trunk and hood latches were removed and replaced with electric solenoid openers. The wheelie bars, which exit through what would normally be the exhaust exits in the rear valance panel. A parachute is mounted between the bars. This car is often confused with the RTS 440 Cuda of the same era, which was also built by Chuck Miller, but note that the RTS car has a shaker hood, while the Sonic Cuda had a blower. 

There is a rumor that the car is in Arizona, repainted black and being driven on the street.

Did Chuck Miller make any more cars like this? 

I would imagine that since this car is so unique that it would be easily remembered by many people who saw it so it might be easier to track it down.

Yes he did. Chuck has written a book about his life. He is still building custom cars and we are putting together a website that showcases his past and present work. I will post the site address as soon as we get it launched.

I talked to a guy here in Michigan in 2008 who claimed that he owned that car for a while before selling it.  He currently had a yellow 71 cuda convert with prowler wheels on it.  It had black billboards also. I wasn't sure I believed him but he seems serious about it.  I would love to see that car in person!
